Training and Development
We aim to provide you with training to develop and enhance your current skills in the following key areas:
  • Technical training – We will develop your technical skills through site visits, on the job learning, seminars, workshops, in-house training, formal courses and technical groups.
  • Project skills – On the job training will provide an understanding of key organisational skills, financial skills and time management.
  • Personal development – We endeavour to assist in the development of your corporate, communication, presentation and self-learning skills.

Skill Development
We aim to develop graduates with a broad skill base. This ensures that you will be exposed to a large variety of work, from site work to structural analysis. There really is no such thing as a ‘typical’ day at Texcel.
  Consulting Skills Development
Working under real bridges is all part of the job as a Texcel consultant. This is complimented by the work undertaken in our office, which provides a deeper understanding of the issues facing structural engineers today.

Accreditation and Mentoring
Support and assistance is provided to encourage and help each graduate achieve professional accreditation. Mentoring is also encouraged and each graduate will be offered assistance from more experienced employees for particular issues.
  Shared Knowledge
We understand that the sharing of knowledge is critical for your engineering development. Technical knowledge and experience is openly shared in group discussions and day-to-day interaction.
